Each year, on a competitive basis, our chapter awards a $1,000 scholarship to a student who meets the following criteria:
- Current enrollment in a full or part time undergraduate curriculum with a declared major related to soil and water resources at an accredited college or university within California or Nevada.
- Cumulative college or university grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.
We are no accepting applications for our 2020 Scholarship. Click here for the announcement and application form.
The application period for our 2020 scholarship closes on February 29, 2020.
Our chapter is always looking for ways to improve our support of new conservationists. If you represent an individual, business, or foundation which is interested in providing financial support toward this effort, please contact us to discuss this opportunity.
The national Soil and Water Conservation Society also offers a variety of scholarships on an annual basis. You can learn more about these scholarships by clicking here.
